Stop Losing your Beauty and Valuable Time Removing Fusion, Braids, Weaves, Hair Extensions and Dreadlocks!
The popularity of braids, dreadlocks, add on hair / wigs, weaves, natural hair styles, and hair extensions with or without glue is exploding.
The key importance and selling point for the Take Down removal cream is that it is an oil based cream. This key factor allows women to transition easily from wearing braids to a relaxer in the same day.
Most women of color assume that after removing braids or extensions they have to wait 1 week in order to relax or straighten their hair, but because Take Down is a cream- not a spray. and is an oil based product.
It protects the scalp and hair so that a chemical relaxer can be used. Most people or stylists don’t have the time or patience to remove fusion, braids, dreadlocks, weaves or hair extensions the right way. And the average consumer goes to the salon to undo or “take down” a style.
And if the hair stylist does not have proper understanding of how to remove any of these styles, they just pull and tug, which ultimately damages their client’s hair. But now there is a solution.
The Take Down® brand is not only unique, but is the lead product for the removal of all add-on-hair styles in the beauty industry. It is a very strong cross over product, for all types of women and hair textures.
Every one from hollywood, models, entertainers to the everday college student wears some form of hair extensions, braids, and add-on-hair.
Anyone who has removed fusion, hair extensions, weaves that are saturated with bonding glue, or tiny micro-braids, understands the hassle. When removing hair extensions with fusion, braids, weaves or dreadlocks, the hair can become dry and matted together, so it can take hours upon hours to remove these styles. And often, once these styles are removed, unhealthy, broken hair is left behind.
Introducing a new product that helps detangle hair and aids in the fast and easy removal of fusion, braids, hair extensions, weaves and dreadlocks. TAKE DOWN® makes the pain, tangles, knots and damage associated with removing these styles old news.
With TAKE DOWN®, women and men who desire changing their locked hairstyles don’t have to cut their Dreadlocks off any more, they can salvage all that beautiful hair. With TAKE DOWN®, you have no more hair loss, damage or balding. And definitely no more excess fusion adhesive or bonding glue stuck to the hair and scalp.
TAKE DOWN®, THE REVOLUTIONARY HAIR REMOVAL CREAM penetrates through the hair and softens the hair as you comb through it. This natural cream can be a relief from the pain of combing out knots and clumps of tangled or matted hair once you have taken out the extension, braid or dreadlock. This revolutionary process makes removal of braids easy, fast and painless…
TAKE DOWN’S ®, revolutionary and unique selling points sit squarely with its ability to address a strong, yet previously overlooked, need in the hair care market.

Reversing Hair Loss – The Proven Hair Re-Growing Agents
Reversing hair loss is a feat that most men would want to achieve. Unfortunately, very few are able to get back lost hair once the hair fall becomes massive. Reversing hair loss is definitely not easy but it’s not impossible either.
Before using any particular herb or product, it is best for the patient to consult his physician. His doctor is the best person to educate him regarding the condition. And a physician is also the best person to discuss the treatments that might suit the patient’s condition. Just in case a strict budget would not allow a hair transplant, it is often always best to resort to natural and proven means of getting a full head of hair. The Proven Hair Regrowers
Saw Palmetto – this natural remedy has been proven to stop hair fall. It blocks the formation of DHT and prevents this hormone from binding with the hair follicles. It is recommended that 1500 mg of this herb be taken daily. Patients are also advised to refrain from using shampoos that have SLS or Sodium Laureth Sulfate in them. SLS degreases the hair but it also clogs the follicles. Once the hair follicles get clogged, hair fall would soon follow. Discard all shampoos with SLS in them and hair growth would soon be noticeable – many patients have reported an improvement on their hair and scalp after ditching their old shampoos.
Eat foods that are rich in minerals like zinc, iron, or magnesium. These minerals are proven to be beneficial in restoring hair.
Buy a lotion that would condition the scalp. There are hair loss lotions and creams in the market that contain herbs which are proven to be effective in preventing hair loss. Herbs such as rosemary, lavender, aloe vera and coconut milk all have hair re-growing properties.
Blood circulation needs to be improved to be able to stop hair loss. Starved hair follicles tend to weaken and fall and to reverse this, it is best to purchase natural remedies which have no side effects. Ginkgo Biloba, Capsicum (in peppers), and prickly ash all improve circulation of the blood. Before getting into a regimen, it is wise for a patient to consult with a physician especially when he has existing medications for hypertension.
Olive and virgin coconut oils are proven hair growers, too. It just takes religious, daily applications to make the hair grow back.Other Methods
Sometimes, laziness tends to consume most hair loss patients that they give up as soon as a month of applying or taking any medicine. Once they don’t see any fast results, these patients just shrug their shoulders and give up. Simple methods such as massaging one’s scalp for 15 minutes each day would greatly improve the blood circulation on that area. The massage would be further enhanced with the use of the aforementioned oils (olive and virgin coconut oils).
Stressful living could result into many ill conditions on the human body. Eliminating stress in one’s life would also improve the systems of the body. Let go and let live-relax and take the regimen you have chosen one day at a time; and before you know it, there would be baby hairs on your scalp!

The Susan Boyle Lesson
Now the whole world knows who Susan Boyle is, a forty-seven year old woman who spent her life living with her mother and her cats (until her mother recently passed away). She sang karaoke at local pubs though her dream was to be a professional singer.
When she walked on stage during the Britain’s Got Talent show, the audience laughed, the judges were cynical. Why? Because she looked like a forty-seven year old spinster. When she responded to a question saying she had never been married and never been kissed, the audience laughed some more. They didn’t expect much from this outcast.
No one was prepared for what came next. She shocked everyone with her spectacular rendition of ‘I Dreamed a Dream’. The audience was stunned and moved to tears. She’s become an overnight sensation, her video on You Tube being viewed over eleven million times.
Susan Boyle is the reason you should never judge a book by its cover.
We’re being bombarded with beautiful people on television, in movies, magazines and music videos. As a result we’re being programmed to judge people based on their looks, leaving us feeling less than perfect and worse, inadequate.
There’s much talk about racism and prejudice. Prejudice against Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims and gays; but there is another kind of prejudice that occurs everyday, ‘Looksism’. All of us witness it and sadly, many are guilty of it.
Most are unaware they’re doing it. For example, how many times have you seen an obese person eating ice-cream and think to yourself or say to someone else, “No wonder they’re the size they are.” You cast judgment never knowing the medical or emotional issues that have caused them to be the size they are. Given a choice do you think they would choose to live that way or opt to live life as one of the beautiful people?
Have you ever passed a teenager on the street who had piercings or tattoos, and you turned the other way, labeling them a freak? My son is the kindest most caring person you could ever know. He’s had a Mohawk cut; he’s shaved his head and dyed his long hair black. He has a tattoo and wants another. Nothing he does to alter his appearance on the outside will ever change the wonderful guy he is, but it will change how others perceive him and sadly the way he’s treated.
I dated a guy who was shorter than me with a stocky build. I’m the girl who when asked to pick the sexiest man, named Ed Asner. (Remember, Mary Tyler Moore?) My boyfriend was a kind, loving guy with an incredible sense of humour, which attracted me more than anything.
One day we were walking hand in hand when two teenage girls passed by. I heard one say, “What is she doing with him?” It sickened me. She had no clue who he was, all that registered was he wasn’t the stereotypical tall, dark and handsome guy. I could have felt sorry for him, but I felt sorry for her. If she was going to go through life judging people by appearance alone, she was going to miss out on a lot of great people. And what if something happened to change her looks? What then? Would it mean she didn’t deserve to be loved?
Take a look around when you’re shopping or sitting in restaurants. Take notice of how clerks and waiters treat people differently. It’s annoying to say the least. I’ve seen clerks be cold to one customer and then ‘turn it on’ for others, based only on looks.
This behaviour starts when we’re young. Think back to your childhood days in school. Bullies picked on the fat kids, skinny kids, the poor who couldn’t dress as well, kids that wore glasses or had big ears. Bullying was almost always based on outward appearances.
What can we do to stop this unspoken prejudice? A good place to start is in your own home. Teach your child there’s more to them and others than their looks. Focus on their talents and skills and the kind of person they are. Teach them to defend the underdog when bullying takes place.
Lead by example. Don’t judge others. Embrace people for who they are. Who knows how many Susan Boyles slipped through the cracks because they appeared less than beautiful so their talents went unnoticed. Had Boyle looked like Angelina Jolie, she would have been discovered earlier and the world would have been enjoying her music all these years.
So do yourself, and the world a favour, look beyond the ‘looks’ next time you meet someone. Susan Boyle was a diamond in the rough waiting to be discovered, and there are millions just like her.
See with your heart, not just your eyes, and be amazed at the wonderful people who come into your life.

Weighing in on My Belly Dance Image
Today I was looking in the mirror and looking back at me was a disgruntled me. I was looking at my image and what I didn’t like. All I saw was what I wanted to change. This is contradictory to what I tell my students. I usually tell them to look in the mirror and see what they like about themselves. But I have to admit today I just didn’t feel like doing it. I wondered about this and decided to take a good look at why I was feeling dissatisfied with myself and how this feeling fleeting as it may be can make a dancer sing the blues, in my case off key.
Through out my dance career people have commented on my weight. Why is it that people think it’s ok to make a comment about someone else’s weight? Our society has become obsessed with weight and in our field of entertainment we are suppose to uphold a certain standard. I remember dancing at a beautiful restaurant in Dallas and was told by a regular costumer that I needed to lose 5 more pounds and than I would be perfect. I stood there shocked and all I could do was nod my head and walk away. She told me this in front of other customers and I remember feeling embarrassed and vowed to lose 10 pounds! I know she had my best interest at heart but all I heard was “You need to lose weight”. So my self image crumbled a little bit that night and what I didn’t realize was that those words would stay with me for so long.
My next question is who decided what standard belly dancers have to uphold? Well, I know that there are many nightclubs and restaurants that want dancers that are a certain proportion. There are some restaurants that won’t hire what they consider an overweight dancer. I know this because I have worked at a few restaurants that won’t tell overweight dancers they won’t hire them, they will just tell them they don’t need dancers or that the position has been filled. So does this compromise the existing house dancers’ relationship with her dance community? How do you tell another dancer she is over weight? I can’t or I should say won’t because it would be like the pot calling the kettle black. Weight is a personal issue and should only be addressed if asked. But it’s not totally the restaurant or house dancers fault because the customers also dictate what kind of dancers they want to see. Most managers will hire belly dancers that are pleasing to the eye according to society’s standards and not women standards. So how do we as women change these so called “standards”?
That’s a really hard question to answer because how many of us photoshop our photographs? How many of us will buy costumes that hide our “problem areas”? How many of us have gone on crash diets just before we have a major performance? I gage my weight according to how my costumes fit me and I have friends who do the same. When I go on a diet the first thing I do after a few days is put on one of my belts. So how can I feel good about my body image when it can only look good if I look a certain way in my costumes? My image has become a blur because I have allowed these standards to dictate how I look. So if I want to go head to head with this standard than the first thing I have to do is start with my own issues and figure out a way to let them go.
An American research group in 2003 said that 50 to 70 per cent of normal weight women believe they are overweight. So are we trying to attain a perfect image that really exists only in our minds? In order to answer this question I went back to the mirror and brought a magazine with me and turned the pages until I came to what I thought was the perfect woman.
I had breasts and she didn’t and I had hips and she didn’t. She had a hard look to her because she was so thin. Than I realized that the image looking back at me in the mirror wasn’t so bad after all. What I thought was the perfect woman turned out to be unrealistic. If we can’t connect to the photos in the magazines than why do we allow these images to dictate how we should look?
Robin Gerber author and motivational speaker put it beautifully;
“We don’t need Afghan-style burquas to disappear as women. We disappear in reverse-by revamping and revealing our bodies to meet externally imposed visions of female beauty.”
When I see dancers on stage all I know is they are the most beautiful vision of womanhood that I can possibly imagine. So I guess I’m in contradiction with myself because I’m up there on stage sometimes too. My most favorite times are in the dressing room just before a production or show, seeing and feeling all the excited energy in the room. If this feeling could be put in a painting it would be a masterpiece.
So why with these images in my head is it so hard for me to look in the mirror and appreciate what I see? I think it’s because I decided at a young age to collect and accumulate all the negative experiences and comments that came my way. So I decided to let go of memories that no longer served me or my image. I threw them away into an invisible trash can. Guess what all of a sudden I started to feel better.
This led me to become curious about our image as women throughout history so I took a look at how we have changed to become what we are today.
In the 1890’s if you were plump and had a light complexion, you were hot (this meant you didn’t work). In the early 1900’s the corset and hour glass figure were all the rage (so what if you couldn’t breath). In the 1920’s if you were flat-chested and skinny, the world was your oyster. In the 50’s and 60’s Marilyn Monroe ruled but Twiggy was right beside her. The 70’s and 80’s were all about working out and having no body fat (let’s not forget about the hair). In the 90’s large breasts and narrow hips became the norm (not really). And today, women are a combination of all of the above. S
As a belly dancer I can handle being a little bit of each generation. And as a matter of fact if you look around our dance community you will see our history in every woman alive and well. As women we have to decide what suites our own vision of beauty. And after looking at our history I realized I was in great company. So I looked back in the mirror, laughed and saw something I did like, a smile. As

Be The Man Your Woman Needs to Dump Proof Your Relationship
Why do women enter relationships? There is no one reason that applies to everyone, because at different stages of life women are seeking different things from men. But the top three reasons given by single women: (1) love; (2) to share our lives with a partner (companionship); and (3) fun.
What Your Woman Wants From Your Relationship
I can’t tell you how many women (married or in an otherwise committed relationship), have complained about how their man changed “once he got me.” The cordial gentlemanly behaviors, the bathing, the haircuts, the romantic attention, all die a slow and painful death. The effort a man put out to get her onto his team comes to a screeching halt once he is confident that she is his.
That guys, is a huge mistake.
Love: Brownie Points and Demerits
It’s important for men to understand that TELLING a woman that you love her is only part of the equation. You have to not only tell her often, you need to SHOW her in a variety of ways, and you need to do it pretty much every day. That way you become not only her romantic interest, you become her rock, her hero, her trusted “go to” person that takes care of her, the man that she feels is the best guy in the world and that she wouldn’t want to ever do without. By doing at least one thing just for her every day, you keep your “love brownie points” level really high.
That means you need to try really, really hard to avoid letting her down. Ever.
Women Don’t Break Up With You Out of Nowhere!
Men go along thinking that everything in their relationship is fine, as long as their needs are getting met. They ignore their woman’s requests for input and problem solving, for assistance, for time, for affection. Men often feel that if they are happy and satisfied with things, then everyone is.
That guys, is a huge mistake.
See, every time you disappoint your woman, you become a little less of a hero in her eyes. Every time she asks for your assistance and you deny her request, you are abandoning her. And every time you abandon her to “do it herself” a chunk is removed from that “rock” that you have been in her eyes. Every time you lie to her, the trust she has in you dies a little. Every time she wants to talk and be with you, and you totally ignore her until you want sex, your relationship takes a hit.
Little by little, your woman draws away from you emotionally, until one day she realizes that she is no longer in love with you. She is ready to go and you are shocked because in your eyes, women are crazy and she just “suddenly” left you for no reason.
The Difference Between Needing and Neediness
There is a huge difference between a woman that needs you, and a needy woman.
Needy women are clingy, insecure and high maintenance. Not many men choose that type of woman, and we aren’t talking about them.
We are talking about the hard working, together woman you chose because she was smart, funny, strong, independent, hot and sexy, and made you feel really good when you were around her. Though she is fully capable of doing what she does by herself, why should she have to? Why is it so difficult for men to differentiate between a woman that needs you, and a needy woman?
Lazy men love to slap that “independent woman” label on their wife or girlfriend when she asks for help. But dude, you need to be very aware of the slippery slope to singleness you are on with that self-centered attitude.
A true partnership is formed when you have each other’s back. But if you are one of those guys that expects your relationship to always be about you and what you want, demanding to have everything when you want it and how you want it, you need to grow up!
Your woman needs to depend on you to be a kind and thoughtful leader, and to do the right thing as a Super Hero always does. Demonstrate your love for your woman by being willing to go the extra mile to rescue and support her in times of need. When she asks for your help, give it without reservation and without 101 excuses why it isn’t the right thing to do, it isn’t logical or necessary in your opinion. Instead of making weak excuses, get your butt up and get busy helping her; she and your relationship need your assistance.
The smart man holds his woman’s hands, heart and spirit in his with loving tenderness. The smart man, treating his “independent” woman with respect and consideration, easily “dump proofs” his relationship!

The Charming Black Pearls
Black pearls belong to the black group. Legends tracked black pearls of the South Pacific regions and to the wide stretch of Cook Islands, Tahiti, Tuamotu Archipelago and in French Polynesia, specifically the Gambier Islands. Cook Islands are the area producing almost 38% of the world’s supply of pearls at present.
The most common black pearl is the Tahitian black pearl which is acquired through grafting. Pictada Margaritifera is the term used to denote those skilled technicians who cultured black pearls in Tahiti.Tahitian pearls carry a metallic steel gray color; naturally these color is produced from the secretions from multi colored mother of pearl.
Black Pearls also called black lipped pearls have variety of colors such as black, dark grey and dark green. Quite famous and expensive are “peacock green” pearls. There are also black dyed pearls and these are synthetically made. These dyed pearls usually lose their color overtime.
Black pearls are naturally bigger than white pearls because the mollusks producing them are generally larger. The black pearls’ mollusks can grow as large as 12 inches and can weigh up to 10 lbs. White pearls are cultures for only a period of 5 to 6 months, thus the growth is inhibited.
There are two classifications of black pearls:
1. Natural Black pearls which is rare. These pearls are found only in one every ten thousand mollusks. Diving the mollusks are illegal because endangering these pieces of natural pearls are being avoided.
2. Cultured Black Pearls are grafted from 18 to 24 months and harvested when the mother of pearl have produced the necessary thickness needed for the pearl’s durability.
Black pearls are alluring and can be valued from A-D grade using the following criterion:
1. Color or Hue. The brilliance or luster a pearl carries is usually a striking characteristic and catches the eye. The lustrous effect is not only brought about by reflection but also refraction of light. The mirror like brilliance in black pearls is the highest quality it carries.
2. Shape. 1 to 2% of pearls in the South Seas have perfectly round shapes. Round pearls are the most precious pearls with regards to shape categories. Drop or the pear shaped pearls can also be expensive when transformed into a highly priced necklaces, earrings or pendants. Some oysters which are organically produced pearls used in buttons, necklaces and bracelets are rated for the uniqueness they have. Flat pearls are commonly used for earrings and means accessories such as rings, tie tacks or tuxedo sets.
3. Size. Black pearls’ diameter can be measured by its millimeter. Polynesian pearls measure 8 to 12 mm; some large pearls found there can measure 13 to 18 mm. The largest pearls are the ones found in South Seas. Size can be a category in rating pearls although it does not increase the value they possess.
4. Surface. Pearls’ surface is another factor in grading a black pearl. Jewelry appraiser examines a pearl on its outer layer. Those pearls with markings (2 to 3 pin pricks) can still belong to A rating as long as its surface is clean. Those perfect pearls with flawless surface are rarely found although available and thus highly priced. Any spots and marks in the nacre reduce the rating of pearls to B C or D.
When buying black pearls, a lifetime guarantee must always accompany any purchase.
Certain stores offer black pearls such as Black Pearl Aspen which is situated in Aspen Colorado, the Black Pearl Hanalei in the Kauai Island of South Sea and Black Pearl Poipu in Hawaii. They offer different kinds of black pearls accessories and jewelries. You can have a relaxation over their scenic views while purchasing for your pearls.
Online stores also offer black pearls examples are overstock.com, blunile.com, and anandiapearls.com. The prices range from $219.99, $350.00 to as high as $1,500 depending on the set and kind of jewelries you want to purchase.
Black pearls can really be a misnomer. It doesn’t particularly refer to black gems but ranges in light to dark silver. Black pearls whether natural or cultured are alluring and incomparable. Buying for these items can be quite costly so the categories regarded to them must be completely observed. Collecting them can be a passion and can really be quite an investment for future.
