Stop Losing your Beauty and Valuable Time Removing Fusion, Braids, Weaves, Hair Extensions and Dreadlocks!
The popularity of braids, dreadlocks, add on hair / wigs, weaves, natural hair styles, and hair extensions with or without glue is exploding.
The key importance and selling point for the Take Down removal cream is that it is an oil based cream. This key factor allows women to transition easily from wearing braids to a relaxer in the same day.
Most women of color assume that after removing braids or extensions they have to wait 1 week in order to relax or straighten their hair, but because Take Down is a cream- not a spray. and is an oil based product.
It protects the scalp and hair so that a chemical relaxer can be used. Most people or stylists don’t have the time or patience to remove fusion, braids, dreadlocks, weaves or hair extensions the right way. And the average consumer goes to the salon to undo or “take down” a style.
And if the hair stylist does not have proper understanding of how to remove any of these styles, they just pull and tug, which ultimately damages their client’s hair. But now there is a solution.
The Take Down® brand is not only unique, but is the lead product for the removal of all add-on-hair styles in the beauty industry. It is a very strong cross over product, for all types of women and hair textures.
Every one from hollywood, models, entertainers to the everday college student wears some form of hair extensions, braids, and add-on-hair.
Anyone who has removed fusion, hair extensions, weaves that are saturated with bonding glue, or tiny micro-braids, understands the hassle. When removing hair extensions with fusion, braids, weaves or dreadlocks, the hair can become dry and matted together, so it can take hours upon hours to remove these styles. And often, once these styles are removed, unhealthy, broken hair is left behind.
Introducing a new product that helps detangle hair and aids in the fast and easy removal of fusion, braids, hair extensions, weaves and dreadlocks. TAKE DOWN® makes the pain, tangles, knots and damage associated with removing these styles old news.
With TAKE DOWN®, women and men who desire changing their locked hairstyles don’t have to cut their Dreadlocks off any more, they can salvage all that beautiful hair. With TAKE DOWN®, you have no more hair loss, damage or balding. And definitely no more excess fusion adhesive or bonding glue stuck to the hair and scalp.
TAKE DOWN®, THE REVOLUTIONARY HAIR REMOVAL CREAM penetrates through the hair and softens the hair as you comb through it. This natural cream can be a relief from the pain of combing out knots and clumps of tangled or matted hair once you have taken out the extension, braid or dreadlock. This revolutionary process makes removal of braids easy, fast and painless…
TAKE DOWN’S ®, revolutionary and unique selling points sit squarely with its ability to address a strong, yet previously overlooked, need in the hair care market.

Another variety of wigs are Synthetic hair wigs, these are mostly used by so many people, and hence they are having different styles, for example the wigs that are used in some shows and theme parties like Halloween, in which lower quality fiber is used , these wigs are cheap and look like a wig. It is not for everyday usage, and for everyday use you need a wig that looks natural. Different Hair Types Require Different Hair Care Methods
Different people from many different countries have varying types of hair. This could range from the curly to the straight ones; the blondes and the brunettes. The shapes and colors of hair also vary greatly.
People inherit their parents’ type of hair-this is simple science. But going beyond genetic contribution, other factors could be the geographical location of people around the globe. Hair color and texture could also be altered especially when there are interracial marriages. This mixture of races results into varied hair types and hair colors. As history has proven, people marry outside of their race and this is when the mixture of different genes starts to produce unique hair types.
The U.S., a diverse nation, is one of the best examples when it comes to racial mixtures. In this country, there are people who have ash blond hair; black hair; red hair; silver hair; ash-colored hair; etc.
The Basic Hair Types as Classified by Scientists
Scientists have tried to classify hair types in relation to the three earliest races:
? Asian people who hail from the Orient often have ruler straight hair. The color of most Asians’ hair is black. Among the 3 races, this is the one that best resists damage.
? The Africans from Africa. The climate and other environmental factors in that continent made Africans curly-haired. Their hair color is commonly black and the structure of the strands is twisted.
? The Caucasoid group has the highest percentage of mixture among the three racial groups. Contemporary Caucasoids are highly varied even if they come from the same ancestral group. These people range from the north-west Europeans to the Indian subcontinent. The hair color could be from very pale (blond) to deep black.
Classification According to Shape
? Straight hair
? Curly/Frizzy hair
? Wavy hair
People with curly, frizzy or wavy hair often need special care as compared to people with straight hair. But all hair types require basic hair care such as shampooing, using conditioners, and combing. Among the hair types, straight hair is the type that is likely to break easily as it can stretch especially when it’s wet. Blow drying would often lead to brittleness and, eventually, breakage.
Most teenagers observe that their hair becomes oily upon reaching the period of adolescence. This is because adolescence spurs sebaceous glands to become active. Along with acne, oily hair is also just a temporary part of every teenager’s life. Oily scalp often occurs in people who have straight hair.
At the other end of the spectrum, if hair becomes dry, it is best to wash it just once a week. Most curly and wavy-haired people are prone to dryness so these people should choose their hair care products well. Conditioning is a must and the recommended shampoos are those with jojoba oil.
Sometimes, it is not just the texture of the hair which causes dryness or too much oil on the scalp. Having rigorous activities can also cause oily hair or over exposure to the sun can cause photo damage to one’s hair.
Hair care is quite basic to all hair types; the only distinction is the choice of hair care products that would suit the individual.

Go Wild In A Blonde Halloween Wig Or An Afro Wig This Halloween Season
A Halloween costume wig can turn a frumpy costume into a fantastic one. When you select a wig, consider your costume as well as the image you want to convey. A costume can go from tame to tantalizing with just the flip of a wig. It’s all in the hair, honey.
Why a Wig?
You may be asking, “Why a wig?” Well, Halloween is a time for fun and fantasy. Face it, Halloween is just as much fun for the adults as it is for the kids – only the candy is a little different. A Halloween costume wig can take your look to the next level. Wigs make it easy to change your look in an instant with little effort. If you are normally a brunette haired homemaker, why not don a French maid costume and an auburn wig? Hello mamma! Ooh la la!
Types of wigs
The beauty of wigs is that they come in every conceivable color, length and style. You can select a blonde wig with long, wavy hair or a short and sassy brunette wig. Take your look to Funkytown with an afro wig or go for the glitz with a silver halo of curls. You are only limited by your own imagination.
Selecting your Wig
Selecting a Halloween costume wig is a little different from choosing an everyday wig. Since you will not likely wear the wig on a daily basis, you don’t have to be quite so specific on fit, but you do want it to be comfortable. Your Halloween costume wig should be a little snug so that it won’t fall off, but it should not bind or cut into your skin. Some wigs are actually hair pieces and can be simply pinned into the natural hair.
Be a Bombshell with a Blonde Wig
A blonde wig can give your costume some vavava voom! Whether short and flirty or long and sleek, you can give your look a golden touch. Remember in the movie “Pretty Woman” where Vivian wore the blonde wig and it gave her a really sexy look? Well, it doesn’t just work for movie stars; it can work for you too.
Find your Funk with an Afro Wig
If you want to give your costume a cool flair, get an afro wig. Straight from the seventies’ disco era, a “natural” or afro wig brings life and fun to your look. Whether it is close to the head or long and wild, you will definitely get a reaction!
Match your Wig to your Costume
Your Halloween costume wig should match your costume. While it is certainly fine to let your wig throw a fun spin on your costume, you don’t want something that is so conflicting that it is difficult to look at or just looks bad. Try it all on together, wig, costume, everything; before you commit.
Sweet or Sexy: It’s all in the Wig!
So you want a sweet look or do you want to go all goth and vampish? Well, it is all in the wig. Think about the look or mood that you want to convey, then it is a matter of putting it together. Now, whether you go with the wig first, or the costume is just a matter of the chicken or the egg. It makes no difference. Do what works for you then hit that Halloween party and have an awesome time!

Basic Wig Guide
Here are 3 simple steps to measure your head in order to determine your wig cap size:
Before you measure, make sure to flatten your hair. This will help take into consideration the fact that you will probably be wearing a mesh wig cap liner beneath your wig for a more comfortable and secure fit. Use a cloth measuring tape, being sure not to pull the tape measure too tight. Just rest the tape over or around your head. Pulling the tape measure too tight will stretch the tape and will not give you an accurate measurment. While it is important to get an accurate measurement to determine your wig cap size, keep in mind that most wigs have tabs which allow up to one inch of adjustment for a more secure fit.
1) Measure Around Your Head: Measure the total distance around your head starting at your natural hairline in the front, to just above your ears, and around the back to the bend of your neck and to the front of your head.
2) Measure Front to Back: Bend your head back. Then measure from your natural hairline in the front of your forehead, back over the crown to the bend where your head meets the top of your neck.
3) Measure Ear to Ear: Measure at the top front of one ear, lay the tape measure up and over the crown of your head to the same position on your other ear.
The 3 measurements listed above will determine the circumference, the depth and width of your wig cap and allow you to choose your correct size.
The following sizes should be used as a guide only, as cap sizes may vary by manufactorer.
*Head Size – Child: (19″ Around the Head) (12″ Front to Back) (12″ Ear to Ear).
*Head Size – Petite: (21″ Around the Head) (13 ¼” Front to Back) (13″ Ear to Ear).
*Head Size – Petite/Average: (21.5″ Around the Head) (13 3/4″ Front to Back) (13 1/4″Ear to Ear).
*Head Size Average: (22″ Around the Head) (14 1/4″ Front to Back) (13 1/4″ Ear to Ear).
*Head Size Average/Large: (22.5″ Around the Head) (14 3/4″ Front to Back) (13 3/4″ Ear to Ear).
*Head Size Large: (23″ Around the Head) (15 1/4″ Front to Back) (14″ Ear to Ear).
How To Put Your Wig On.
1) Take the wig out of the box, shake it gently to loosen fibers.
2) Find the front and the back of wig (remember the label goes in back).
3) Brush your own hair back, securing any longer pieces with a hair pin and place a wig cap over your head (keeps your existing hair from falling and the wig securely in place.
4) Grasp the wig at the top and slip it over your head from hairline to back.
5) Adjust wig so that the edges meet with your own natural hairline.
6) The wig should feel secure but no too tight. If necessary, adjust the back elastic straps with hooks toward the inner label for tightening, and away from the label if you need to loosen it.
7) Style as you would your own hair, keeping in mind to be gentle with the hair. Most wigs will require some cutting and styling to create the individual wearer’s desired effect. A professional wig stylist who can help you achieve your look and teach you how to use various approved wig care products is preferred. Remember, you would be best to take off too little than too much as it will not grow back.
Styling and Maintenance of Your Wig.
1) Cleaning Your Wig:
- Brush the wig thoroughly, remembering not to pull too hard on the hair fibers.
- Fill your sink or basin with cold or luke warm water, adding shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, or shampoo for color treated hair.
- Let your wig soak for 5-10 minutes. You can move the wig around in a gentle motion, but do not rub it.
- Rinse in cold or luke warm water until thoroughly rinsed.
- Generously apply conditioner to the wig, working it through with fingertips.
- Rinse again until all conditioner is removed from the wig.
- Gently blot the wig with a towel. Do not rub.
- Run your fingertips through the wig fibers without pulling to loosen any tangles or knots.
- Place the wig on a wig stand to air dry. If the wig is human hair, you can use a blow dryer, but it is recommended you use a wig stand as well to preserve the wigs longevity.
2) Styling of Synthetic Wigs:
- If upon receiving your wig, you find you need it altered or restyled, it is advised you take it to a professional stylist to achieve the desired effect. Do not fuss with the styling of a synthetic wig, as most often a simple shake it and go method works just fine. Hence, these were made specifically for ready to wear. You can of course, clip and pin different sections to your liking for a change of style, but as you get used to the wig, you will most likely find that you do not have to do anything if at all in maintaining it’s style. For curly wigs, use a pick or comb to loosen fibers, but do not pull on the hair.
3) Styling of Human Hair Wig:
- If upon receiving your wig, you find you need it altered or restyled, it is advised you take it to a profession stylist to achieve the desired effect. After air drying or using a blow dryer with the hair completely dry, use a wider tooth comb or brush, starting at the ends and working your way up to the roots. Remember it is human hair, and it too can get split ends if not treated delicately. Place the wig on it’s wig stand and use hot rollers or a curling iron on a low setting to style the hair to your liking.
4) Storing Your Wig:
- Store your wig on a wig stand in a clean, damp free and heat free environment. This will ensure it stay tangle and soil free between wearing, as well as maintain the wig’s style.
