Black Hair Magazine Styles

Is Seventeen Mag a good magazine(Not Racial)?
Ok you guys, I’m African American and 17 and alot of my friends only read Black Hair Magazines(African American Hair Styles). And me, I read Black Hair Mags and Seventeen Mag because I like the different articles and clothing well, pretty much everything lol. But my “So Called” friends believe I’m trying to be white.
That’s not the case. I have lots of “True Friends” of different races. Should I just dump those so called friends of mine or what? I don’t have any online friends.
Thanks
Also, I love Rock and Pop Music. I’m talking about, Nickelback, Maroon 5 and all the others. I also like R&B. But I do not care for Hip Hop or Rap that much I may listen to it like once every two months. I mean, that’s just not me you know. And then ppl call me names because I like Rock, Pop, and R&B more than Rap and things. Should I dump those loser friends of mine?
Yep, dump ‘em all and find people who aren’t stupid.

Black Hair Magazine Braids

Where do find images of different styles of Black Hair braids?
I am thinking of wearing braids this summer, because my hair can’t stand the humidity (I live in the South). I need some pictures of hair braids that I think I would like to try. I am looking for some websites, magazines, whatever you can find.

Black Hair Magazine For Braids

How come there aren’t many media outlets that talk about Black hair?
They never have anything on the style channel, E!, or BET about different stlyes for Black hair both natural and realxed. Even in teen magazines they have nothing on “natural” balck hair….Our hair is completey different from other races…There are a lot of Black hair magazines but most of them have relaxed/straight styles…..Even in mainstream Black magaiznes like Ebony, Essense, they barely mention Natural hair tips, stylign opinions and stuff like that. I’m natrual and I have short hair and I don’t really have any ideas for it. I have braids in but…I want a different style…..
Rockstar, mos tof hte hair salons around my area don’t specialize in natural hair..I tried it and they only do relaxed and straight hair stlyes…I;nm trying to find a good Natrual hair salon that does free consultation….

Black Hair Magazine Natural Hairstyles

Hairstyle Help Please?!?
I have black hair, and I’m very tanned. But I’m sick of having just natural hair! I want something different!
My skin colour is somewhat like Vanessa Hudgens’ hair.
What colour streaks can I put in my hair that would look nice?
If you have the newest issue of TWIST magazine, and you’ve seen Selena Gomez’s hair in the article about her and Demi’s sleepovers, I was thinking maybe I can get something like that in my hair? Or maybe even blonde?
What should I ask the hairstylist to do?
Thanks in advance!
yes I am a girl.
My real name is Alexis, but I go by either Alexi, or Alex! lol,
definelty NOT a guy!
and i meant my skin colour is somewhat like vanessa hudgens’ skin colour, not hair colour! lol. ![]()
and i meant my skin colour is somewhat like vanessa hudgens’ skin colour, not hair colour! lol. ![]()
and I didn’t mean going full out blonde,
I just meant blonde highlights or something!
I know, blonde would look AWFUL on me, that’s why I don’t plan on dyeing it like that!
Well, I think you should get something that looks natural and blonde won’t look natural with black hair. You can get light brown and dark brown highlights in your hair, that will look really good and “soften” your hair. Also, highlights look really good on people with tanned skin
