Making a decision on Ending Chemical Use and hair styles For Natural African American Hair
When it comes to choosing a black hairstyle, there's a enormous variety to choose from. The huge list of different and elegant styles include black hair weave styles, braided hairdos, fades, long and short hairstyles and natural black hairstyles. With so many choices, it can get quite confusing as to which one to experiment with.

Stop Losing your Beauty and Valuable Time Removing Fusion, Braids, Weaves, Hair Extensions and Dreadlocks!
The popularity of braids, dreadlocks, add on hair / wigs, weaves, natural hair styles, and hair extensions with or without glue is exploding.
The key importance and selling point for the Take Down removal cream is that it is an oil based cream. This key factor allows women to transition easily from wearing braids to a relaxer in the same day.
Most women of color assume that after removing braids or extensions they have to wait 1 week in order to relax or straighten their hair, but because Take Down is a cream- not a spray. and is an oil based product.
It protects the scalp and hair so that a chemical relaxer can be used. Most people or stylists don’t have the time or patience to remove fusion, braids, dreadlocks, weaves or hair extensions the right way. And the average consumer goes to the salon to undo or “take down” a style.
And if the hair stylist does not have proper understanding of how to remove any of these styles, they just pull and tug, which ultimately damages their client’s hair. But now there is a solution.
The Take Down® brand is not only unique, but is the lead product for the removal of all add-on-hair styles in the beauty industry. It is a very strong cross over product, for all types of women and hair textures.
Every one from hollywood, models, entertainers to the everday college student wears some form of hair extensions, braids, and add-on-hair.
Anyone who has removed fusion, hair extensions, weaves that are saturated with bonding glue, or tiny micro-braids, understands the hassle. When removing hair extensions with fusion, braids, weaves or dreadlocks, the hair can become dry and matted together, so it can take hours upon hours to remove these styles. And often, once these styles are removed, unhealthy, broken hair is left behind.
Introducing a new product that helps detangle hair and aids in the fast and easy removal of fusion, braids, hair extensions, weaves and dreadlocks. TAKE DOWN® makes the pain, tangles, knots and damage associated with removing these styles old news.
With TAKE DOWN®, women and men who desire changing their locked hairstyles don’t have to cut their Dreadlocks off any more, they can salvage all that beautiful hair. With TAKE DOWN®, you have no more hair loss, damage or balding. And definitely no more excess fusion adhesive or bonding glue stuck to the hair and scalp.
TAKE DOWN®, THE REVOLUTIONARY HAIR REMOVAL CREAM penetrates through the hair and softens the hair as you comb through it. This natural cream can be a relief from the pain of combing out knots and clumps of tangled or matted hair once you have taken out the extension, braid or dreadlock. This revolutionary process makes removal of braids easy, fast and painless…
TAKE DOWN’S ®, revolutionary and unique selling points sit squarely with its ability to address a strong, yet previously overlooked, need in the hair care market.

Detangling Directives for Children With Dry Hair or From Mixed Cultures
We tend to complain about our children’s hair not growing, breaking constantly, and manageability. With busy schedules we unconsciously neglect their hair and take it for granted until it begins to break like straw.
Yet we seem to take the time each day to moisturize our hands and bodies with lovely creams and moisturizers. We do this because we know that our skin will crack and get rough if it is not cared for. So why don’t we apply this same concept to our children’s hair?
We repeatedly use harsh styling gels or alcohol based hair sprays that dry their hair out immensely. We use relaxers also that tend to dry the hair out also. In addition, their braided or twisted hairstyles tend to be dry and brittle as well. All of these factors cause our children’s hair to tangle and break easily.
The variety of hair textures has an impact on the amount of tangling on a child hair, however hair that is moisturized and hydrated tends to tangle much less than dry and brittle hair. Whether a child has thick hair, coarse hair, curly hair, fine hair or mixed textured hair due to multi-racial parents; it must be cared for in the same manner.
When the hair and scalp are not moisturized with some sort of hair lotion or oil-based cream; the scalp can become extremely dry, rough, irritated and itchy. Sometimes the scalp will begin to form scabs and sores or even crack. Therefore hair growth is reduced due to the scalp being sore and damaged.
And in addition to not caring for our children’s hair externally, many of us do not assure that our children drink enough water to hydrate their bodies internally. Nor do they eat enough green vegetables and fruits to provide their growing bodies with natural vitamins.
The only solution to prevent dry hair is to change our way of thinking. The TAKE DOWN ®, Moisture Restoring Hair lotion is one of top selling products for moms to detangle matted hair. And also for children with multi cultural hair textures. It is a very strong cross over product, for all types of children and hair textures. This product line also offers great maintenance and styling products for ethnic hair.
We must value our children’s hair and stop taking it for granted. Our children should not be forced to wear hair extensions when they become matured adults. Especially if it is as a result of their parents not taking the time to moisturize their hair and scalp with alcohol free hair lotions or oil-based creams. Their God given natural hair is an important part of their self esteem and self worth.
If children wear braids or dreadlocks use leave-in conditioners, oils, or oil-based creams. Shampoo their hair weekly-dust and dirt prevents healthy hair growth. Take the time to massage these moisturizers in their hair 2-3 times a week; it will only take 10 minutes out of your day to care for their hair. Or show them how to massage their own heads after you apply the moisturizers- make it fun for them. That is even easier than moisturizing our hands/bodies daily!
Please incorporate more water in their daily diets, as well as more green vegetables and fruits in their weekly diets.
A good source of vitamins for healthy hair, skin and nails are Vitamin E, A, & D. When you take the time to love your child’s hair it will respond by getting thicker, healthier and longer. And their hair textures will become softer and shinier as well.

Black Hair Magazine Braids

Where do find images of different styles of Black Hair braids?
I am thinking of wearing braids this summer, because my hair can’t stand the humidity (I live in the South). I need some pictures of hair braids that I think I would like to try. I am looking for some websites, magazines, whatever you can find.

Black Hair Magazine For Braids

How come there aren’t many media outlets that talk about Black hair?
They never have anything on the style channel, E!, or BET about different stlyes for Black hair both natural and realxed. Even in teen magazines they have nothing on “natural” balck hair….Our hair is completey different from other races…There are a lot of Black hair magazines but most of them have relaxed/straight styles…..Even in mainstream Black magaiznes like Ebony, Essense, they barely mention Natural hair tips, stylign opinions and stuff like that. I’m natrual and I have short hair and I don’t really have any ideas for it. I have braids in but…I want a different style…..
Rockstar, mos tof hte hair salons around my area don’t specialize in natural hair..I tried it and they only do relaxed and straight hair stlyes…I;nm trying to find a good Natrual hair salon that does free consultation….
